Comfort and protection:
TCS® and MCS® allow the foot to tilt from side to side and forwards and backwards under normal conditions, but minimize the risk of injury when the foot is subjected to extreme pressures.

TCS® Torsion Control System:
This system consists of two heel pieces and a two-part frame. The plastic cuff protects and stabilizes the foot and largely prevents the ankle from twisting or extending beyond its natural range of motion, significantly reducing the risk of injuries. For maximum comfort, the individual components of the frame can move in relation to one another, and so it does not unnecessarily restrict the foot's freedom of movement.

MCS® Metatarsal Control System:
MCS® was designed to prevent injuries to the metatarsal bones. The system consists of a rigid polyamide base with a rotation point level with the ankle joint, which controls the up and down movement of the foot, and prevents excessive pressure from being exerted on the metatarsals. The positioning of the rotation point maximizes freedom of movement and ensures a feeling of control when making gear changes. A special high-strength steel is used for the side abrasion protectors. Air vents prevent these from overheating when scraping on the ground, and channel cool air to the sole via built-in ventilation channels.
